The right partner for the factory of the future

From initial consultation to quality inspection – URMA is an expert in 3D printing

Artikel: URMA AG

In recent years, URMA AG has greatly expanded its expertise in 3D printing, Partly through applications in their own production division, but also through the development of a broad machine portfolio. Now, in cooperation with various partners, URMA offers an extensive range of peripheral devices and software. Manufacturing companies thus receive everything they need for the introduction or expansion of their additive production directly from a single source.

URMA has been a supplier of industrial 3D printers for several years and has now expanded what it has to offer. With solutions across the entire manufacturing chain, URMA is a full-service provider offering advice and systems for design, optimisation, production, finishing and quality control. Through the new partnerships with DyeMansion and Solukon, URMA has further expanded its machine options in the post-processing sector.

Print-to-product solutions with DyeMansion

Munich-based DyeMansion is a leading supplier of finishing systems for industrial 3D printing of polymers. With DyeMansion, URMA has a partner for print-to-product solutions that cover all steps of the finishing process – from the raw part to the finished product. The systems for de-powdering, surface finishing and colouring can be seamlessly integrated into existing production processes.

Solukon – de-powdering of metal and plastic components

Solukon, a company based in Augsburg, specialises in the de-powdering of 3D-printed metal and plastic components. Solukon systems can remove powder from difficult-to-handle materials, such as copper. By inerting in a protected process chamber, the systems are also approved for reactive materials such as titanium and aluminium.

Transfer centre for innovation and additive manufacturing

In order to present the complete range through the entire additive manufacturing chain of 3D printers, post-processing machines, CNC machines as well as peripheral equipment, URMA is building a second Swiss location in Mägenwil in 2024. In the modern showroom, customers can view the various machines and gain a deep insight into additive manufacturing (3D printing). The construction of this Experience Center will create the largest centre of excellence for industrial 3D printing in Switzerland.
